Introducing the CD/Game Exchange Soundstage

We’re excited to announce our new partnership with the CD/Game Exchange, an independent, locally-owned source for CDs, LPs, games, and skateboards in Silver Spring and Takoma Park. Owned by the community-minded Sam Lock, the CD/Game Exchange is sponsoring the market soundstage, now officially dubbed “The CD/Game Exchange Soundstage.” The neighborhood is guaranteed an awesome show every week! We’ll have a DJ spinning vinyl and local bands performing–free, outdoors, every Saturday, from 9-3. This Saturday, we’re excited to feature Manolo spinning his funky mix of vintage R&B and reggae starting at 9, interspersed with two sets by local Americana singer/songwriter Jeff Smith starting at 11. The CD/Game Exchange will also be setting up a booth every week at the market next to the the soundstage. Come browse records, CDs, and skateboard accessories while you rock!
