Happy hunters!

Diego and Athena were visiting the market for the first time! They had trouble finding the decorative plate from vendor Liz Mische and were getting discouraged, but then they were in the right place at
the right time and they spotted it! They really like the puppets for sale at the market, and Diego hopes the puppet guy will be back next time he comes. Congratulations Diego and Athena!

Scavenger Hunt winners w/Berna from Antiochia USA!

Siblings Charlie, Jamie and Camryn worked together to find the travel set from Antiochia USA – nice teamwork, kids! They really liked the plush squids, the guy making pens, and seeing how much time people put in to making the stuff in the market.

Fair Winds by Alfred Meakin 7-inch diameter Dessert Plate , ready for hanging!

This cute, little collectible plate comes ready for hanging! This pattern was introduced by Staffordshire pottery Alfred Meakin for the American Bi-centennial. The pottery had a history of making special patterns for the US market, and many of us remember our mothers or grandmothers collecting this pattern in the 1970s at grocery stores and parties. Vendor Liz Mische has kindly donated this for the hunt – be sure to check out her booth for more awesome vintage ceramics!

So do we remember the rules? These lovely items can be hidden in ANY booth at the market – well, just not the booths where they obviously belong…All you need to do is find them, and you get to keep them!

So, is there anything the team can’t do? Doesn’t seem like it. They even upcycle to create tees, weekender bags and, of course, cat toys!

Check out Amina’s blog, Of Cats and Crafts and then see her work in person, this Saturday at the Fenton Street Market!
