Thank You, Thank You, Thank You for a GREAT fifth season, Silver Spring! We could not have made it this far without you! Never fear though - your 2014 of craftiness is far from over. We have lots of Holiday fun coming your way this December, and in the meantime, you can get down and crafty with some of our favorite friends.

Friday, November 7: Our friendly neighborhood thrift store Pennyworth Thrift Shop is open until 8pm on Bonifant Street. Go thrift it up late night and then join us for a drink around the corner - Quarry House Tavern anyone?

Friday, November 14 - Sunday, November 16: The Pyramid Atlantic Book Arts Fair is back with the theme Outside the Margin that focuses on book art and contemporary prints that explore outer edges of the mediums. Get your tickets for one day or all three right here.

Sunday, November 16: Don’t miss Empowered Women International’s Artisan Gifts & Food Marketplace at the Silver Spring Civic Center. It will be a dynamic shopping experience showcasing the diverse talents, gifts and creativity that women entrepreneurs bring to the world - some of whom you may have seen at Fenton Street Market this season!

Thursday, November 20: See some of our vendors' studios at Monroe Street Market's Third Thursday! The Arts Walk is open late for you to meet the artists and see them hard at work.

This Week at the Market: Saturday, October 25 - LAST Market of the Season!

No tricks - it's our last market of the season so come on out this Saturday in your Halloween costume and get some treats! We've got TONS of fun this Saturday at the market - kids storytime, free yoga, a photobooth, pumpkin donuts, plus early voting inside the Civic Center and some live music. We'll see you at our most EPIC market of the season!



Throwback Thursday - early voting on our last market of the season in 2012. Make sure to come out on Saturday and vote (early!) in your local elections!



Joining Us:

Wear your Halloween costume to the market and take a spin in a photobooth provided by Nikoo's Photos. She'll be printing photos on the spot too!

Our friendly neighborhood thrift store Pennyworth Thrift Shop returns with lots of their inventory - just in case you forgot about a Halloween costume. Old man from Up, anyone?

New vendor, Janery, joins us this Saturday with handmade throw pillows and trendy pet beds. It's cold out and even your furry roommates need new textiles to snuggle up on.

Aburi Botanicals joins us again with her beautiful bath and body products. Shaving soaps and bath salts means an at home spa day for EVERYONE!
